Walkways
Inviting paths that connect your landscape — smooth, stamped, or custom-designed.
A great walkway guides guests, defines your landscape, and dramatically improves curb appeal. We build walkways in concrete, paver, and stamped finishes.
A walkway does quiet, important work: it guides guests to your door, connects the different areas of your property, and ties your whole landscape together. A crisp, well-designed path instantly elevates curb appeal, while a cracked or uneven one drags down the look of an otherwise beautiful home. Because walkways are highly visible and constantly walked, they reward good design and solid construction in equal measure.
Culman Construction designs and pours walkways in straight, curved, and freeform layouts to fit your landscape and how people actually move through it. We handle the excavation, compacted base, edge forming, and grading so the path drains properly and won't heave or settle. Then we finish it to match your home — smooth, broom-textured, or stamped to look like natural stone or brick.
We can integrate lighting prep, ADA-accessible designs, and finishes that coordinate with your driveway and patio for one cohesive look. From a short front-entry path to a network of paths connecting a whole backyard, every walkway is backed by our one-year workmanship warranty.
Why homeowners choose Culman for walkways
A clean, well-designed path is one of the most cost-effective ways to elevate your home's first impression.
Proper base prep and grading keep the surface level and slip-aware so no one trips or slides.
Finishes that match your driveway and patio create one cohesive, intentional landscape.
A monolithic concrete path means no shifting pavers and no weeds growing through the joints.

Walkways FAQs
How wide should a walkway be?+
A main entry path is most comfortable at about four feet wide so two people can walk side by side, while secondary garden paths can be narrower. We'll recommend the right width for each path during design.
Concrete or pavers for a walkway?+
Poured concrete — especially stamped — gives you the look of pavers without the joints that let weeds grow and pieces shift. It's lower-maintenance and typically more cost-effective over time.
Can you make my walkway match my driveway?+
Yes. We coordinate color, texture, and finish across your walkway, driveway, and patio so the entire hardscape looks like one intentional design.
Do you build ADA-accessible walkways?+
We do. We can design paths with accessible widths, slopes, and transitions to meet accessibility needs for homes and businesses.
